3 Parks, 2 Weekends, 1 Apple Crisp

So I've visited a few parks in my weekends here in Budapest, to start here's a few pictures from the picnic/bookstore/coffee shop adventure Valarie and Maia and I had last Saturday.

We re-visited the fancy bookstore cafe we had seen on the second/third day here. But this time we actually sat down with some delicious brownies and dug into our books.

And then last Sunday I went to a park after church to read for a few hours:

Yesterday was another beautiful day so me and a few people from my bible study went to Normafa park for the day. Friday was rainy and gross so I had stayed in the whole day so it was welcome to get out and get a little active after a full day of studying/vegging.

The whole park was in the Buda hills, which looked great for sledding in the winter time :) And even cooler, there was a lookout tower where you could get and amazing view od the city and the hills around.

More parks more adventures! I've thoroughly enjoyed the weekends spent not traveling around, but instead spent exploring what Budapest has to offer, which turns out to be a lot! On Friday Val and I countered the rain with an Apple Crisp, a delicious Nutella french toast with bananas and berries and several Disney movies. I'll put up some pictures shortly!
